So many of my friends play femShep, and they’ll tell me it’s because male Shepard is “a flat and boring character, he’s expressionless, emotionless and the voice acting is bad”. This makes me think that they haven’t actually tried to play male Shepard more than a couple of minutes, I mean… come on.
When re-playing this time I specifically tried to get screenies to prove that he’s not emotionless at all. Let’s just say I have a huuuuge pile of screenies now.
Anyway. I like these ones because you do not only see Shepard in them, you see his personality (does that even make sense? It sounded much less stupid in my head). He’s not always handsome, not “perfect”, but behind every gesture there’s thought and emotion. And like that annoying pop-song that they just won’t stop playing says: “that’s what makes you beautiful”.

Big old word to all of this. It always makes me rather sad that he gets bashed on so much by certain sectors of fandom. FemShep’s great and all but maleShep will forever be my favorite.
